Our Executive Team
Prof. Tatsuo Masuda is Chairman of the FairCourt Capital Group and also serves as a visiting professor at the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Graduate School on energy/climate policy and geopolitics, as a board member of SOC Corporation in Tokyo, and as a senior advisor to Elion House in Singapore. He taught at the Tokyo Institute of Technology on technological innovation (2005-2009) and Paris University-Dauphine on energy geopolitics (2005-2010). He has extensive careers in energy business and policymaking as advisor to Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. (JAPEX: 2006-2011), vice president of Japan National Oil Corporation (2002-2005) and director for oil markets and security at the International Energy Agency (1996-2001). Prior to this he assumed several posts related with energy policymaking and administration in METI. Currently, he is strongly interested in a new dimension of energy and environmental policies, and contributes to the World Economic Forum as member of the Global Agenda Council on Decarbonizing Energy.
Mr. Heus is founder and CEO of FairCourt Capital. He is an international financier of Dutch nationality who started his career in Royal Dutch Shell, covering Supply and Trading, Group Planning, Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions, followed by senior investment banking positions in major financial institutions in both East and West. Amongst other major milestones in his 33 year career so far, Mr Heus led the investment banking team in the early nineties, that advised the governments of the Former Soviet Union (FSU) and the Russian Federation, on the restructuring and privatisation of the vast FSU oil & gas industry, advising state enterprises in Russia, Kazakhstan etc.
Ahmad Azizi has a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before he joined Motorola Malaysia, heading the production line maintenance department. By 2005, with enough experience in project management and facilities management, he made a career move to the local automotive industry by heading the Properties and Facilities department of Perodua Sales Malaysia, then Naza KIA Malaysia for the next 10 years where he was exposed to property development and land acquisition process. Career highlights include completing five(5) KIA Red Cube Flagship Outlets and two(2) Perodua Flaghsip Branches. In 2017, he joined FairCourt Capital as Executive Director.
